CYCLING FROM LONDON TO PARIS
PROSTATE1000 is a philanthropic organisation, committed to helping spread awareness of the scourge of prostate cancer, and to raising funds for financing research into finding a cure. The organisation was founded in 2009 by Gideon Lang-Laddie.
PROSTATE1000 raises awareness and funds for prostate cancer research, by focusing on and organising sponsored biking challenges. In May of 2019 a team of PROSTATE1000 members will cycle over 555 miles each, in 5 days, cycling from Paris to Monte Carlo.
PROSTATE1000 raised in excess of $65,000 in 2009 from its first event. Every penny raised went directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. This event featured a team of 20 individuals, cycling 100 miles from New York to Montauk, in the Montauk Century.
